Triton Hydrocarbons Pty Ltd (Triton) is a privately owned oil and gas exploration and production company that specialises in the emerging markets. Triton is 63% owned by highly regarded institutional private equity investors in Jakarta, London, New York, Singapore and Toronto; including Firebird Funds of New York.

Triton has a participating interest of 36% in Block-M, which is located in the southern region of Brunei Darussalam, and a participating interest of 70% in Block-25 and Block-32 offshore Mauritania in West Africa.

Furthermore, Triton is amalgamating a portfolio of high impact exploration ventures and field development projects in Iraq and Kazakhstan.

Triton’s head office is located in Sydney, Australia. It has branch offices in Iraq and Mauritania, as well as representation in Kazakhstan.
